1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the SavemeUP mobile application (the “App”), provided by the SaveMeUP team (the “Service Provider”). The App is free to download, but some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchases. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Intellectual Property
The App, including all code, design elements, trademarks, logos, databases, and content, is the exclusive property of the Service Provider. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, translate, extract the source code, or create derivative works based on any part of the App. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
3. App Usage and Restrictions
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. You must not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with other users’ experience.
Users must not attempt to bypass age restrictions or access 18+ content without meeting the required age and subscription conditions.
Jailbreaking or rooting your device may compromise security and cause the App to malfunction. We strongly discourage such actions.
4. Children’s Use
The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. However, certain features that may include access to adult or age-restricted (18+) content are strictly limited to users who:
confirm that they are 18 years of age or older
have an active paid subscription.
If you are under 18, you must not attempt to enable or access any adult content within the App.We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if age information appears inaccurate, false, or misleading.
The Service Provider is not responsible if a user misrepresents their age or provides incorrect information during registration.
5. Personal Data
The App stores and processes personal data you provide to deliver the service. For details about how your personal information is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Some features of the App rely on automated content analysis powered by artificial intelligence. This process is designed to improve categorization accuracy and user experience and does not involve the processing of personal data.
You are responsible for keeping your device and App access secure.
6. Third-Party Services
The App relies on trusted third-party service providers to deliver core functionality. These services may process limited technical or account-related data only as necessary to support App features:
- Google Play Services – essential system services required for secure and stable app functionality.
- Google Sign-In and Facebook Login – for secure authentication and simplified registration.
- Facebook Login
- Firebase (Crashlytics) – for crash reporting and improving app performance. No analytics or marketing data is collected.
- RevenueCat – for managing subscriptions, renewals, and entitlement access.
- Stripe – for secure payment processing of subscription purchases.
- DigitalOcean (cloud infrastructure, servers hosted within the European Union)
- PostgreSQL and Redis (secure databases for storing user data and content)
- OneSignal – for sending push notifications (non-personal identifiers only).
- Mailgun – for transactional emails such as account verification and password recovery.
- Cloudflare – for network security, DDoS protection, and content delivery.
- Meilisearch – for in-app search functionality (no personal data stored).
- LinkPreview – to generate link metadata (title, description, thumbnail) when saving URLs.
- OpenAI API – to analyze and categorize saved content using artificial intelligence. Only content data (e.g., link text or preview) is processed, not personal information.
- Zyte – for automated metadata extraction and link processing to enhance accuracy and completeness of saved content. No personal information is transmitted.
You are encouraged to review the terms and privacy practices of these providers to understand how they handle data.
7. AI Features Disclaimer
Certain features of SaveMeUp use artificial intelligence technologies to analyze or categorize links and generate previews.
These AI-powered functions are designed to enhance usability and are not intended to make autonomous decisions about users or their behavior.
The Service Provider does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
8. Internet Connectivity and Mobile Data
Some features require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible for issues caused by lack of connectivity or exceeding mobile data limits.
If using the App outside Wi-Fi, you are responsible for mobile data charges. Ensure you have permission if you are not the device owner or bill payer.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App relies on third-party data and systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
You are responsible for maintaining your device, internet connection, and security. The Service Provider is not liable if the App becomes inaccessible due to device failure, connectivity issues, or user modifications (such as jailbreaking or rooting).
10. Social Media and Content Sources
The App allows you to save content from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, Netflix, Spotify, Deezer, and Pinterest. Social media icons indicate the source of content and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the App.
The App does not host or reproduce any third-party content. Saved links are limited to publicly available metadata (title, description, preview image) and are processed solely for personal organization and categorization purposes.
The App may process links that contain adult or sensitive content only when explicitly saved by users who meet age requirements (18+) and only for users with an active subscription. The App does not host adult content.
11. Adult Content (18+)
Some features of the App may include or allow saving and viewing content intended for adults (18+). Adult content is available only to users who:
confirm they are 18 years of age or older during registration,
have an active paid subscription.
By accessing such content, you confirm that:you are at least 18 years old;
the device you are using is not accessible to minors;
you are not violating any laws applicable in your country regarding adult content.
If you are under 18, you must not enable or access adult content within the App. The Service Provider is not responsible if a user provides false age information. We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to adult content or the entire account if age information appears to be inaccurate or misleading.
12. App Updates and Termination
The Service Provider may update the App to improve performance, fix bugs, or support new system versions. You agree to install updates to continue using the App.
We may discontinue or suspend the App at any time. Where possible, we will attempt to notify users in advance. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease, and you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.
13. Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted in the App and take effect immediately upon posting. You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
